Irvington Community Schools (ICS) is a tuition-free, public charter school available to all K-12 students in Indiana. Additionally, students entering Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year must turn five years old before August 1st of that academic year.

ICS offers all students an innovative and relationship-centered experience rooted in academic excellence. As a community-based school, ICS delivers an academic model based on the fundamental belief that it is our responsibility to prepare students to be thoughtful, involved, and productive members of society. This goal is achieved through student-centered learning, social-emotional learning curriculum, service-based learning, student-driven club activities, athletics, and peer mentoring.

APPLYING TO ICS

Irvington Community Schools participates in Indianapolis’ unified enrollment program called Enroll Indy. It’s time already to start thinking about enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year!

• All current Irvington students are guaranteed a seat for next school year.  No additional steps are required for these students.
• Siblings of current ICS students receive enrollment seating priority; however, parents must complete an application through Enroll Indy in order to secure their student’s K-12 grade seat for next year.
