Clubs

Our goal with the clubs is for students to engage one another with shared interests in subjects outside of the curriculum they experience during the school day. This helps them grow intellectually, as well as experience group learning in a more casual setting with teachers and/or staff members who share the same outside interests as the students. Clubs also provide an excellent platform to improve students’ collaborative skills. Further, students form new friendships and deepen existing ones by sharing involvement in extracurricular interests.

Clubs are often student-created and student-driven, but staff members host and support students who wish to develop a club offering. During our hybrid eLearning model at the start of 2020-21, students may present a club idea to staff members and invite them to host them and their friends in a club from 11:30-12:00 during our virtual Advisory lunch period.
