The Raven of the Week award is a teacher-nominated award given to a student in each homeroom who has modeled The Irvington Way or another related character trait during class each week. The students who earn this award will have their names published in the weekly newsletter.
The Raven of the Week Award is in keeping with our Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) methodology of systemically encouraging better behavior throughout the school day. Additionally, “Caught Being Good” slips are awarded to deserving ICES students. Classes are rewarded for best behavior with a reward ticket system that recognized classes can use to “purchase” prizes.
